An educational event dedicated to children and adolescents who are training their minds, perseverance, and ability to perform in an international setting.
The International Soroban & Anzan Competition organized by Logiclub is more than a contest of mathematical skills. It is an educational experience that challenges children to test their concentration, calculation speed and emotional self-control in a structured, safe and motivating environment.
By participating in such an event, children develop not only cognitive abilities, but also the courage to face the emotions of competition, manage pressure and realistically assess their own level of preparation.

Soroban and Anzan are powerful tools for mental training and such a high level competition provides the ideal context in which these skills can be showcased. Participating in an international setting helps children strengthen discipline, sustained attention and the ability to make fast and accurate decisions under pressure.

The competition is dedicated to:

The participation fee provides your child with a complete international educational experience, organized to professional standards.
The Competition takes place in a modern conference venue, with dedicated stage design, professional equipment and an experienced organizing team. It is also streamed live, allowing family and friends present to watch the child’s performance in real time.
Official Soroban and mental calculation tests, structured by level, with fair evaluation and formal award ceremony.
Children become part of an international community and experience the atmosphere of a high-level competition.
Children will enjoy educational activities provided by Ethoria private school and traditional Japanese workshops, including origami and calligraphy, enriching their cultural and learning experience.
Participation in the competition, official stage awards ceremony and public recognition in an inspiring environment.
Each participant receives official participation prizes, trophies & diplomas, while the top 3 students on each tested level (1st, 2nd and 3rd place) will receive special prizes & trophies.
Total value of all prizes: approx. 6000EUR.
Participants benefit from an open lunch buffet, offering a comfortable and enjoyable break during the event.

The competition is organized by Soroban & Anzan study levels (according to the Ishido structure and method), ensuring a fair and motivating framework for all participants.

REGULATIONS for purchasing & cancelling participation in the International SOROBAN & Mental calculation Competition from 23rd May, Sibiu, Romania
1. MAIN PRINCIPLES
These regulations apply to the sale of participation in the International SOROBAN & Mental calculation Competition

The Competition is aimed at participants aged 7-15 who study Soroban and Mental Arithmetic at Logiclub, Go Kids Go Academy Bucharest, Akademia Sorobanu & Superminds Academy in Poland, Matyclub and Yoshida Academy in Romania.
The Competition site: Mercure Arsenal Hotel, Bulevardul Victoriei 48, 550024 Sibiu.
2. RESERVATION AND PURCHASE
Participants book their place via the Netopia portal, to which they will be directed from the website https://logiclub.ro/international-soroban-mental-arithmetic-anzan-competition-an-exercise-in-performance-focus-and-confidence/
Reservation is not a guarantee of registration, but only a preliminary confirmation of willingness to participate. To make a full registration, you must pay the participation fee in the amount of 295 LEI (approx 58 EURO).
3. DELIVERY OF SERVICES (REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION)
The product offered represents the participation right in the International SOROBAN & Mental Calculation Competition.
No physical products will be delivered.
After successful payment of the participation fee through the Netopia payment portal, the Participant (or legal guardian) will receive a confirmation email at the email address provided during registration. This confirmation email represents the proof of successful registration.
The confirmation email is sent automatically after the payment is successfully processed and is typically delivered within a few minutes. In exceptional technical situations, delivery may take up to 24 hours.
If the Participant does not receive the confirmation email within 24 hours from the successful payment, they are requested to contact the Organizer at office@logiclub.ro.
4. CANCELLATION OF PURCHASE
The participant may cancel the purchase 14 days after making it, but no later than 1st of May 2026, without justifying the reason. The Organizer undertakes to refund the entire amount paid no later than 7 days after the reported cancellation.
After latest 1st May 2026 any refunds requested will not be possible.
To cancel your purchase, please send information requesting cancellation to the email address office@logiclub.ro.
5. RETURN / CANCELLATION PROCEDURE
Cancellation of participation is governed by Section 4 of the present Regulations.
To request cancellation, the Participant (or legal guardian) must send a written request to office@logiclub.ro, including the participant’s name and proof of payment details.
No physical return of products or documents is required, as no physical goods are delivered.
If the cancellation request is made within the eligible period and approved in accordance with these Regulations, the Organizer will initiate the refund of the paid participation fee.
From the moment the cancellation is confirmed by the Organizer, the refunded amount will be transferred back to the account used for payment within approximately 5 working days, depending on the processing terms and conditions of the payer’s bank.
Refunds requested after the deadline specified in Section 4 will not be processed, except in cases of force majeure as defined in Section 6 of these Regulations.
6. “Force majeure”
Complete cancellation of the purchase is possible in the event of force majeure. “Force majeure” means any extraordinary, sudden, external event, preventing the performance of an obligation arising from the Agreement, beyond the control of the parties, which could not have been foreseen by the parties at the time of concluding this Agreement and which could not have been prevented even with the exercise of special care, including, but not limited to, including: action of the forces of nature, state of emergency, martial law, new legislation or administrative decisions.
In such a case, the organizer undertakes to refund all fees incurred to the Competition.
